I believe that home is a feeling rather than a physical location, and that it can be recreated with intentional design.

Design meets art

After pursuing my Bachelor’s in Fine Arts and Arts Management at the College of Charleston, I moved to San Francisco. I worked for two contemporary Bay Area interior designers who have an artful approach to design.

Our clients encouraged us to embrace our imagination and create custom pieces for their homes. It was here that I honed my eye for texture, color, and pattern.

HOLISTIC APPROACH

I think holistically about the creation of my work. With an attention to detail, I incorporate different elements of a designed space into my art.

My approach to painting is deliberate, yet spontaneous. My work is a mixture of purposeful marks and fluid strokes, resulting in a dance of color and shape on the canvas. For me, art is a way to reconnect to interior design, fashion, and culture.
